COVID-19 ELDER RESPONSE
Dear NewLife Church F M L Y,
As many of you know there has been a lot of information in the news about COVID-19, so we don’t have to go through all the statistics. We also know that many in our community and in our church are concerned with the virus and spreading the virus. As a church leadership team, we have decided to continue with our Sunday service. We are making sure the surfaces and things that people touch, remain as clean as possible. We are also changing our cafe to prepackaged foods as well. With that being said here are a few things we ask of you…

- If you are sick or your kids are sick STAY HOME!
- WATCH SERVICE ONLINE! If you are sick or worried about being around a large group of people you can join us at home through our live stream, which can be found online at newlifemi.com/live. If you have a smart tv or device that has the youtube app you can also find our youtube channel by searching “NewLife Church MI.”
- PRAY! We as followers of Christ need to determine how we are going to live during these unusual days. We as a church have chosen to be diligent, not letting fear control our lives, but choosing daily to keep our eyes focused on our Heavenly Father.
- Take time often to pray. Pray that God would bring an end to this virus, and pray that people who have contracted COVID-19 would recover and be made well. If you become sick, need help or prayer please text us at 517-917-0415.
- If you’re fearful or anxious, take it to God! His peace will guard your hearts and minds.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7

- GIVE YOUR BEST! As you know we have commitments that still need to met on a weekly or monthly basis. We also want to be able to respond to unexpected needs during this time, so we ask that you give to give your best. Remember we are all a part of this FMLY, and we want to be a church that carries one each other's burdens.
